1) Character’s scene goal
2) Driving force behind the goal (motivation)
3) conflict and tension
4) conflict builds through the scene
5) Scene climax
6) resolve in a way that leads into the next scene


STORY structure:

1) one clear protagonist
2) story goal
3) motivation
4) conflict arises b/c of protagonist trying to achieve story goal
5) a cycle of attempts
6) dark moment
7) climax
8) resolution
9) turning points = no turning back points
